Asael (Asi) Karfiol is a General Partner at Citrine Partners, a private investment bank and financial advisor. With more than 25 years of experience as a venture capitalist and investment banker, Asi brings a wealth of experience of building value at tech related companies while leading transactions in excess of $300 Million. Clients include: Cloudyn (Acquired by Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT)), Top Image Systems (NASDAQ: TISA, Acquired by Kofax), CyNet , Dome9 (Acquired by Check Point (NASDAQ: CHKP), leading investor: SoftBank), Xloom communications (Acquired by Mellanox (NASDAQ: MLNX)), Eurikify (Acquired by CA (NASDAQ: CA)), and many more. Prior to Citrine he was an Executive Director at Mooreland Partners a leading tech-related investment bank (Acquired by Stifel (NYSE: SF)), where he managed deals related to the Israeli market. Asi was General partner at venture capital firm Hyperion and Ascend Venture Capital. He was founding investor in Provigent, which was later acquired by Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO), and an angel investor in Exalink, which was acquired by Comverse. He was also directly involved with value building for other portfolio tech startups such as VSecure (Acquired by Radware (NASADAQ: RDWR)), Kailight (Acquired by Dune Networks, now Finisar (NASDAQ: FNSR)), Cloverleaf (Acquired by Dot Hill Systems (NASDAQ: HILL ).
